Face Masks Must be Worn

Jordan’s Prime Minister and Defence Minister has announced face masks must be worn in ministries, public departments, institutions and places. A Circular to this effect has been issued and has been issued to all Government institutions. It will apply to employees and visitors. They must also take the appropriate anti-Coronavirus measures, including complying with social distancing rules. It is part of implementing Jordan Defence Order No. 11/2020 which will come into force on 15 August 2020. Individuals who do not comply will be fined between 20 and 50 Dinars while institutions who do not comply will be fined between 100 and 200 Dinars.
