Kuwait’s Media Minister and National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature Chairman has issued a Decision following a recommendation from the trustees committee to postpone all cultural and artistic festivals until next year. This will include the Kuwait International Book Fair. They have been postponed because of Coronavirus. The Council’s General Secretary said the spread of the virus creates big challenges and affects the health and safety of audiences and attendees at these festivals and this decision is aimed The aim of the decision is to protect public health.
