Sharjah’s Executive Council has issued a Decision to allow social events in the Emirate to resume. They will be able to resume in halls, hotels and homes from 1 November 2020. However, they will have to comply with anti-Coronavirus measures. Under the Decision, where the social event is held in a hall or hotel, the anti-Coronavirus measures issued by the Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in the Emirate must be complied with. Where the social event is held at home, approvals are required from the nearest suburb council. The Decision also specifies various controls, precautionary requirements and preventive measures to ensure the safety and health of all participants in these events.
