Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate for Passports has explained a number of regulations and conditions for issuing travel permits for exempt groups during the suspension of international flights during Coronavirus. The groups include public servants, civil and military personnel who are delegated abroad on business missions. Permits can be issued if the official missions cannot be done remotely, they are not related to a deadline which can be postponed and the participation should be as limited as possible. The required documents include official letters from the head of the institution specifying the names of the participants, the mission, the location, the time and confirmation of meeting these conditions.
