Saudi Arabia’s Transport Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kingdom’s Public Transport Authority has announced the initiative to support the country’s land transport sector and operating facilities has been extended for two months. The extension will mean all services related to land transport activities will continue to be provided without their provision being linked to the payment of fines. In addition, the initiative to exempt affected entities from the requirement to link to the Authority’s platform and the installation of tracking devices and measuring weights for trucks operating in the activity of transporting goods will be extended.
