Anti-Coronavirus Guidelines for Cleaning and Hospitality Services Issued

Qatar’s Commerce and Industry has announced it has issued anti-Coronavirus guidelines for cleaning and hospitality services as they resume their activities. The resumption of their activities is part of the fourth phase of lock down restrictions being relaxed in the country. Workers of cleaning and hospitality service companies will be allowed into workplaces or homes but only after their health colour status is checked on the Ehteraz app. Only those with a green status will be allowed in. The body temperatures of workers will have to be taken before they provide these services. Those with temperatures over 38 degrees will not be allowed in. These workers will have to wear medical masks and gloves while they are in the workplace or house. The owners of cleaning and hospitality services companies should also comply with the instructions for the gradual re-opening plan and the timeline announced by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management. They will also have to comply with the Circulars and decisions issued by the Commerce and Industry Ministry. In addition, they will have to comply with the instructions related to the responsibilities of employers to limit the spread of Coronavirus and directives for health and safety regulations issued by the Public Health Ministry. Finally, they will have to comply with the policies set by the Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs Ministry on the anti-Coronavirus measures to be followed. These measures will have to be complied with from 1 September. The Decision will be kept under review. Anyone who violates the Decision will be prosecuted. Histoire complète
