Ras al Khaimah’s Ruler has ordered some commercial activities which have been particularly affected by closures because of anti-Coronavirus measures should be exempt on a sliding scale from renewal fees. The Ruler has also ordered these entities be exempt from any penalties as a result of violations. They have asked the Economic Development Department to exempt nurseries from 50% of commercial license renewal fees and establishments which were closed and used as an approved place for quarantine be exempt from 25% of commercial license renewal fees. Facilities operating at the Emirate’s airport who do not have branches outside the airport and were closed should be exempt from 50% of commercial license renewal fees. Histoire complète
