MPs Say No to Bill to Cut Private Sector Salaries

National Assembly Members have rejected a government proposal to allow employers in the private sector to negotiate with their employees to reduce salaries by 50% or require unpaid leave during lockdown. 34 MPs voted against the bill, 13 voted for it and one abstained.
