Entrance Guidelines Updated in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Media Office has announced the entrance guidelines for residents have been updated. Under the updates, those leaving Abu Dhabi for a short time may get a Coronavirus test from a screening centre in the Emirate before leaving. They won’t have to share their test result until they are back providing they are back within 48 hours. If it is not presented within 48 hours, a new test will have to be taken. Before this change, only the results of tests taken outside the Emirate were considered valid to enter Abu Dhabi. Only those testing negative were allowed in and the test result had to be shown to the authorities at the border via the AlHosn app or via text message from any hospital or screening centre in the UAE affiliated to the National Screening Programme. Under-12s and those with medical appointments for kidney or cancer treatments are exempt from taking the test. Histoire complète
