Banks to Reopen for Five Hours

Kuwait’s Central Bank has announced it has agreed with CEOs of banks to reopen the banking sector once the total lockdown is over. The reopening will include all the services which have been suspended including lending to individuals. Sources have confirmed the Central Bank has held preparatory meetings with local banks to allow them to reopen gradually. Banks have agreed to reopen for five hours in their headquarters and employees will be spilt into two teams. The total number of staff present at any one time will be 50%.
