Businesses to Start Stage 3 Reopening on 27 May in Dubai

The Dubai Economy has announced businesses will be allowed to start the stage 3 reopening on 27 May 2020. 

Airports will reopen for returning UAE residents and transit passengers, pending authorities approval. Clinics (including ENT and Dental clinics will be able to open (but there will be no aerosol generating procedures). It will also be possible expand elective surgeries of less than 2.5 hrs). Auctions will be able to operate at 50% and outsourced government service centres will be reopened. There will be aged restrictions on who can go to auctions. Strict cleaning of public areas will be needed with toilets cleaned after use. Temperature checks will also apply. Customers will need to wear masks and staff will need masks and gloves and use hand sanitiser after every transaction. Contactless hand sanitiser will be needed in common areas. Visitors will be restricted from touching items and only every second seat can be used with seat markings put in place.

Seniors and children therapy centres located in malls will also be able to operate. Seniors of 60 and above and children of (12 and below), when accompanied by an adult, will be allowed admission to a mall if they have a proof of an appointment at these centers. This will need to be communicated clearly to the security, and staff within the mall.

Educational and training institutes, and child learning and therapy centre will be allowed to operate at 50%. As will sports academies, indoor gyms, sports, and fitness clubs. Although no showers, spa activities, saunas or massages will be allowed.
