Marinas Allowed to Reopen

Oman’s Transport Ministry has announced marinas in the Sultanate are going to be allowed to reopen. Pleasure and tourism boats will also be allowed to resume operations. However, all must comply with strict anti-Coronavirus measures. These include wearing face masks in public areas in marinas, complying with social distancing rules and avoiding gatherings. The administrators of marinas will have to provide hand sanitisers in public areas and the number of passengers, including crew, on super yachts will not be allowed to exceed ten people. The number of passengers on pleasure boats will not be allowed to exceed six people and they must all be from the same household. Leisure boats will only be allowed to be used for picnics if all the passengers are from the same household and there are not more than six people onboard. The administrators of marinas will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the number of passengers, including crew, on super yachts being limited to ten people and ensuring the boat picnic rules are complied with. They should report any violations. Histoire complète
