The Deputy Governor of Jordan’s Central Bank has announced the Bank has issued directives to banks to postpone loan instalments for March and April without fees. The Bank has asked these institutions to postpone the loan instalments for May because of the Eid holiday. They added 400,000 borrowers have benefited from the decision to postpone the loan instalments and 270,000 borrowers have benefited from a reduction in the interest rates by 1.5%.
