The UAE’s Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship has announced all visa fines in the country have been waived. From 18 May residency violators will have three months to utilise the fine waivers. It applies to residency and visit visas which expired after 1 March. Fines for expired Emirates ID and labour cards will also be waived. Those affected will not be barred from re-entering the country if they comply. Histoire complète
