COVID-19 Restrictions for Young and Old Changed

COVID-19 curfew restrictions for people over the age of 65, those with chronic illnesses and young people under 20 years old have been eased. The Interior Ministry has said that people over 65 years old will be allowed to leave their homes, as long as they remain within walking distance and wear masks, on 10 May 2020 between 11.00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. local time. Children under 14 years old will also be allowed out on 13 May during the same hours, while 15-20 year-olds will be able to leave their houses on 15 May. They must also remain within walking distance and wear masks.. Turkey introduced stay-home orders for those over the age of 65 on 21 March 2020, and those under 20 years old had been restricted from going out since 3 April 2020.
