Qatar’s Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs Ministry has emphasised the workplace safety rules for employers. ((Histoire)) Under the rules, employers should ensure their employees are aware of anti-Coronavirus measures they are taking, including the availability of the 16000 hotline to report suspected cases. They should ensure hand sanitiser is available and provide employees with protective equipment including gloves and face masks. They should also constantly check the body temperature of employers through trained employees at living accommodation entrances.
