Some Education Assessments Will Take Place Digitally

Jordan’s Education Ministry has announced some education assessments will take place digitally. Jordanian and non-Jordanian students in grades four to 12 will take the assessments via www.darsak.gov.jo. They will take the assessments from 18 to 23 April. The children of Jordanian women married to non-Jordanians will take the assessments as will students in public schools, military culture schools and Awqaf, Ministry affiliated institutions. The Ministry also announced the tests will be carried out in two-hour sessions, using exam sheets covering one or more academic subjects through objective multiple-choice questions. The tests cover course materials from the start of the second term until schools were suspended. The Ministry added they will conduct further evaluations in due course as well. Students in grades one to three will have their evaluations done by teachers instead of being formally tested. Special evaluation procedures for students who cannot take these tests because of the necessary technical apparatuses will be announced separately at as of yet unconfirmed date. Histoire complète
