The Zakat and Income Authority has confirmed that providing liquidity for the private sector is their priority among a number of other initiatives which are designed to support businesses in the kingdom to face the impacts of COVID-19. The authority has launched a number of initiatives including postponing tax and zakat returns. The Authority has also permitted businesses to postpone paying the selective tax which is imposed on certain imported goods.
