COVID-19 Restrictions On Private Sector Employees

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has stated the UAE’s private-sector should allow only a maximum 30 percent of their workforce to report physically for work from 29 March 2020.

The rest should instead be working from home, The ministry has also said that private companies should consider reducing the number of customers who are visiting their service centres to 30% and they should also follow health and safety precautions, including keeping sufficient distance between them.

Infrastructure projects, catering, telecommunications, power, health, education, banking, food processing, health supplies manufacturing and cleaning firms are exempted from the decision, according to the State News Agency WAM
