The General Directorate of Passports has explained how they are to implement the decision on extending Expat visas without fees. Under the decision, expats who work in commercial professions whose visas expire between 18 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 will be able to have their visas extended for three months automatically without the need to visit the directorate or pay any fees.
Expats who work in commercial professions and have visas but have not used them yet due to the suspension of being able to move in and out of Saudi Arabia between 25 February 2020 and 20 March 2020 will also have their entry visa extended for three months automatically without having to pay any fees or having to visit the directorate.
