Reopening Requirements for Common Halls in Restaurants Announced

Muscat Municipality has announced the reopening requirements for common halls of commercial restaurants and entertainment areas in commercial centres. The reopening requirements for common halls in restaurants include reducing capacity to 50%, increasing the frequency of disinfection and providing hand sanitisers. All waiting chairs have to be cleaned and disinfected and the necessary guidelines for regulating the distance between customers to ensure social distance is observed displayed. Restaurants also have to limit the number of people at each table to four at all times. The reopening requirements for entertainment areas in commercial centre include the closing off of joint playing areas and play time reduced.
