Mask Penalties to be Increased

They will be imposed on those who don’t wear face masks in enclosed places and public transport like taxis and microbuses. Private cars will be exempt. Masks have had to be worn in the country since May. Elsewhere, the Cabinet is going to publish new anti-Coronavirus rules. The rules will state commercial and industrial shops, restaurants, and cafes have to close at specific times. This specific time is understood to be 10pm in winter and 11pm in summer. It will be the first time limits have been imposed in 40 years. Supermarkets and pharmacies will be exempt. Full story
