The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management has announced the Emirate’s travel protocols have been amended. Under the amendments, citizens will not have to conduct a PCR test before departure regardless of where they are coming from or the time they have spent there. They will only have to take a PCR test on their arriving in Dubai, while the PCR test remains mandatory for residents and tourists before coming to Dubai. A pre-travel PCR test is mandatory for transit passengers from some countries. Emiratis, residents and tourists travelling overseas from Dubai are only required to take a PCR test before departure if their destination country requires it. Full story
