The Board of Directors of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities has decided to extend the exemption for all cafeterias and bazaars in museums and archaeological sites affiliated to the Council from paying rent until the end of October 2020. The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities confirmed the decision is part of the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry’s moves to mitigate the adverse economic effects of Coronavirus.
