Egypt’s Education and Technical Education Minister has confirmed the start of the academic year for private and public schools is 17 October 2020. The Ministry added this will not be postponed as the dates have recently been approved by the Education Supreme Council. International Government schools will reopen on 11 October 2020 instead of 27 September 2020 to give these schools more time to improve their anti-Coronavirus procedures. International private schools already reopened on 15 September 2020. Full story
