Penalties for Spreading False or Misleading Information About Coronavirus Contacts to be Increased

Turkey’s Interior Ministry has announced the penalties for those who spread false or misleading information about people with Coronavirus who they have come into contact with will be increased. A notice to this effect has been issued. Under the notice, those who spread false or misleading information in this regard will be fined or jailed for up to two years. Full story
