Rules for Weddings, Conferences and Exhibitions Announced

New rules on weddings, conferences and exhibitions have been announced. The relevant Prime Minister Decision has been published in the Official Gazette. These events will be able to resume from 21 September providing certain anti-Coronavirus measures are complied with. Weddings and similar events can be held in open places in hotels and tourist establishments who have health and safety certificate from the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry. They will also be able to be held in other open places licensed for these activities by the relevant authorities, provided there are not more than 300 attendees. Meetings and conferences can also be held in hotel establishments which have a health and safety certificate from the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry and other facilities licensed for these activities by the relevant authorities. However, the venues will not be able to more than 50% full and only 150 people will be allowed to attend. Full story
