Dubai’s Health Authority has announced the procedures for reporting, certifying and classifying Coronavirus as a cause of death in the Hamd system. Coronavirus must be registered in the death notification form for all of those who have died, if the disease caused or is assumed to have caused the death or it contributed to it occurring. As there are many types of Coronavirus, it is recommended to use the code Covid-19 instead of diagnostic codes which contain Coronavirus. Deaths resulting from infection with Covid-19 disease must be reported within 24 hours of the date of death.Full story
