A spokesperson for Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower has announced companies who receive additional support under Kuwait Cabinet Decision No. 654/2020 have to pay the full salaries of national workers registered on their books. This has to be for previous months or in the future and their employment cannot be terminated until 30 June 2021. Companies who have made deductions from the salaries of national workers because of Coronavirus and received additional support, now have to deposit all the deducted sums in the employees’ accounts before 15 September.
