The Ministerial Committee for the Implementation of Health Requirements in Kuwait has announced face masks will have to be worn and violators will be fined. The fines will be imposed in line with Article 17 of Kuwait Law No. 8/1969 (as amended by Kuwait Law No. 4/2020). Under the current penalties, those who do not wear face masks will be fined up to 5,000 Dinars and/or jailed for up to three months. Full story
