Financial Service Firms Can Operate Remotely and Trade Online

The Board of Commissioners of Jordan’s Securities Commission has announced it has decided to allow financial service companies to work remotely via Virtual Private Networks. However, this will only be for those experiencing exceptional difficulties as a result of Coronavirus. A company wanting to do this will have to get approval and fulfil all the technical requirements and controls agreed on between the Authority and the Amman Stock Exchange. The company will be solely responsible for the security and integrity of its data, its customers data and its systems.
