Oman’s Supreme Anti-Coronavirus Committee has announced service restrictions on beauty parlours. The restrictions apply to women’s hairdressing salons, barbershops and men’s personal care salons. Under the restrictions, facial hair cannot be removed through threading, whether using the mouth or another method which involves allows close contact with the face. The personal tools of customers cannot be kept in the centre or at the salon and all kinds of cosmetic practices which affect the skin are banned. In addition, facial or body hair removal using hair machines is banned unless it is owned by the customer. Moroccan bath or similar services and the holding of photo sessions, parties and social events are also banned. Full story
