Kuwait’s Education Minister and Minister of Higher Education has announced distance learning will be adopted during the first semester in all educational stages. A Decision to this effect has been issued. It will be reviewed in November in line with Coronavirus statistics in the country. It will apply to state education schools, religious education, adult education centres, private schools and special education schools who apply the general education curriculum. A decision regarding amendments to the evaluation system in the elementary stage has also been amended. It provides the final evaluation of the fifth grade of elementary school will be carried out at the school level and will be prepared by the head of the department and approved by the technical instructor.
