Home Isolation Requirement for All Arrivals Scrapped

Bahrain’s Health Ministry has announced the protocol requiring all passengers arriving in the country to self isolate at home for 10 days, regardless of the result of a Coronavirus test will be scrapped. The new protocol will come into force today. It means all passengers arriving will be tested twice. They will be tested when they arrive and after 10 days, but if the first results are negative, the self isolation will be extended. It adds ‘The application of the new measure comes after statistics showed the positive cases of incoming travellers amounted to 0.2% after the 10-day quarantine exit test took place between the 1 July and 16 August. Full story
