According to local reports Bahrain’s education authorities will soon survey parents of students in government-run schools on options for educating them in the new school year. Options will include distance learning or blended class attendance and online education. Where online-education is used students will be obliged to observe a daily virtual schedule and log on to e-programmes at specific times. There is a possibility they will cut hours of class attendance. In June Bahrain set 16 September 2020 as the date for reopening of state schools. Private schools will, however, open on different dates, starting from mid-August until the beginning of September. Full story
