The movement of goods on the King Fahd Causeway between Saudi and Bahrain has been given the go ahead by both countries in both directions.
Trucks from Bahrain will now be allowed to cross the causeway. According to Bahrain’s Exit Customs director of Customs Affair the move has been coordinated with Saudi Customs. The road link between the two countries was closed on 7 March 2020 as a result of COVID-19. Then on 23 July 2020 the Saudi authorities reopened the sea link for Saudi citizens who can now return without permission. Full story
