Guidance for Airlines

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has announced via their twitter account that all airlines should strictly follow the COVID-19 measures and if they do not they will face penalties and legal action. All passengers arriving in Kuwait must have a PCR COVID test certificate which should not have been issued more than 96 hours from the test. The certificate should be written in English and should have come from one of the approved laboratories. A specific list of laboratories has been designated for each airline flying into Kuwait and there are differing time periods within which the test must have been taken depending on the laboratories. The shortest time limits which apply to Air Arabia, PIA and Air Blue are 48 hrs. The longest which applies to UAE airlines including Ethiad, Fly Dubai and Emirates is 96 hrs. Full story
