Jordan’s Labour Minister has issued Jordan Notification No. 8/2020 to allow employers to agree with employees who are performing their duties in workplaces or remotely in the sectors most affected by Coronavirus to reduce their wages by up to 20% for July and August. The new percentage replaces the previous 30%. The Notification was issued by the Prime Minister in line with Jordan Defence Order No. 6/2020 which aims at regulating the wages for July and August.
