State of Emergency Extended for Three Months

Egypt’s Parliament has approved Egypt Presidential Decision No. 168/2020 to extend the state of emergency in the country for another three months. It will start on 27 July 2020 in line with the Constitution. According to Article 154 of the Constitution, the President, following consultations with the Council of Ministers announces the state of emergency as provided for by the law.
