Lock Downs for University and High School Exams to be Imposed

Turkey’s Health Ministry has announced lock downs will be imposed to enable university and high school exams to take place. Lock downs will be imposed this Saturday and 27 June to enable university and high school entrance exams to take place. It will last between 9.30 am and 3:00 pm.

Those taking the exams using public transport and those dropping students off will be exempt. The Municipalities will be responsible for taking the appropriate measures to prevent public transport disruption and more services could be offered if needed. During the lock downs, bakeries, markets, grocery stores, and butchers will be open. Workplaces which carry out activities related to the production, transportation and sales of medicines, medical devices, medical masks and disinfectants will also be open along with animal shelters, hotels, fuel stations, logistics companies and intercity public transports.
