The Royal Oman Police have announced public gatherings of more than five people in the Sultanate are still prohibited. This includes public gatherings at beaches and those who want to exercise should comply with the social distancing rules. Anyone who takes part in public gatherings will be fined 100 Rials while those attending gatherings like funerals, places of worship or any other gatherings like this could be fined 1,500 Rials. People who aren’t wearing masks in public will be fined 20 Rials. Both of these activities are violations of Supreme Anti-Coronavirus Committee decisions. Full story
