Kuwait’s Finance Minister has issued a decision extending the deadlines for submitting tax returns and paying taxes for companies subject to the law. This includes income tax, labourer support tax and zakat. The deadlines have been postponed because of the suspension in work in all Government departments. The tax return deadlines for the financial year which ended on 31 December 2019 and the financial year ending on 31 January 2020 will be extended by 60 days starting from the first day on which the Ministry resumed work.
