The General Director of the Foreigners Affairs and Ports Department in the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has announced the security committees which has been formed in cooperation with other ministries to deport residency and visa violators is working on removing the obstacles to facilitate their deportation. Violators who own companies or investments should liquidate their businesses before they leave. Individuals who are outside the UAE and have residency permits which expired after 1 March 2020 can return to the UAE by the end of the year. Full story
