Private Healthcare Facility Service Restrictions Relaxed

Qatar’s Cabinet has approved a relaxation in the restrictions imposed on the services provided by private healthcare facilities in the country. It means they will be able to resume 40% of their services from 15 June. They will continue to be able to provide emergency services, in line with the conditions and controls set by the Public Health Ministry. In addition, the Cabinet approved a Decision to change the working hours of all Government employees to 7am to 2pm. It will come into force on 14 June. They went on to approve a draft law amending Qatar Decree Law No. 11/2012 on the Government regulation of the sale and purchase of chemical and petrochemical products produced in Qatar. Full story
