Coronavirus Restrictions for under-18s and Over-65s Relaxed

Turkey’s President has announced lock down restrictions for the under-18s and over-65s in the country are going to be relaxed. It means 7.5 million over-65s will now be able to go out every day from 10am to 8pm as will under-18s. They have been largely banned from going outside since 21 while under-18s have been largely banned from going outside since 4 April. However, under-18s will have to go out with their parents. The President added cinemas and theatres will reopen on 1 July. The President went on to say Scientific and Technological Research Council scientists have successfully produced a Favipiravir drug which can be used to treat Coronavirus.
