Returning Nationals Must Wear Tatamman Bracelet

Saudi Arabia’s Health Ministry has announced nationals returning to the country must wear a Tatamman bracelet. The bracelet monitors people showing Coronavirus symptoms. It also allows those who are self-isolating or who are in quarantine to access up-to-date advice and information on the virus and their health status. They will be contacted daily through the bracelet. It is the latest measure announced by the authorities to tackle Coronavirus in the Kingdom and is aimed at allowing individuals returning to the country to isolate at home instead of elsewhere. Anyone who doesn’t comply will be prosecuted. The Ministry added anyone who has Coronavirus symptoms or wants a check-up, should use the self-assessment service in the MAWID application, use the helpline number or contact WhatsApp number 920005937. Full story
