Ministry Announces Penalties for Overcrowding in Commercial Outlets

Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry has announced the penalties for overcrowding in commercial outlets.This includes employee overcrowding as well as shopper overcrowding in and out of shops. The fines range between 5,000 to 100,000 Riyals for each additional person for first time offenders.

For repeat offenders, the fines will be increased. A private sector entity which repeats the offence will be suspended for three months and then six months for additional violations. Full story
