Companies Who Lay Off Staff Will be Prosecuted

The Committee established to consider the situations of Omani employees who worked in the private sector and were sacked has chaired a meeting with the Labour Affairs Undersecretary for the Manpower Ministry. They discussed the meetings held with 15 companies, 12 of whom confirmed they were committed to keeping Omani employees. However, three of these companies did not respond to the Committee’s requests so they decided to take legal action against them.
