Post Coronavirus Health Guidelines Proposed

The Health Council of the GCC countries has proposed some post-Coronavirus health guidelines. The aim is to help resume normal service once the pandemic is controlled. The proposals cover the resumption of public transport and the reopening of parks, markets, restaurants and sports clubs. Social distancing, disinfection and personal hygiene guidelines will also have to be followed. In terms of the resumption of public transport, the Council has proposed requiring drivers to wear face masks and avoid transporting too many passengers at any one time. They should also avoid cash payments and create barriers between them and passengers. The Council added sanitisation wipes should be made available on flights and old and unwell people should postpone their travel. Full story
