Face Masks Must be Worn

Qatar’s Cabinet has approved a Decision requiring face masks to be worn by everyone when they are not at home. They will have to do so from 17 May until further notice. Anyone who violates the Decision will be jailed for up to three years and/or fined up to 200,000 Riyals in line with Qatar Decree-Law No. 17/1990. Only those driving on their own will be exempt from the rule change.
